It may be your ex and friend are very compatible. I frown on a friend who would be dating an ex before sufficient time has passed for you to get over the whole thing, but denying that two other people may be better suited for each other is not a judgment I would care to make. Sure it hurts to see a friend do this, but true friends want only the best for their friends and if it turned out this relationship was the best thing...

I think that that friend is desperate to have your ex. He/She is a total backstabber and traitor unless he/she has your permission. I mean, duh? EX boy/girl friends are off limit to friends!
