one of my best friends is mad because my other friends dating a boy she likes. Ok my friend really likes this guy and there like really great for each other. My other friend used to go out with him. They broke up but she still has feelings for her. My friend really LOVES him what should she do?

This is something for the girls to sort out for themselves. Why should you do anything? If you get involved then they will think that you are taking sides and then you risk losing both of them.

Just provide a sympathetic ear when they let off steam with you but don’t attempt to give advice.
If you do that then you will guarantee to upset one or the other of your friends. You should even explain this to them, it’s not a good place for you to be in.
If they have any sense or respect for you then they’ll understand this.

Also, remember that the boy is also an individual with responsibilities and feelings. None of you ‘own’ him and he should make his own mind up who he wants to go out with. If he two-times the girls then you must remember that it’s not your responsibility.

Unfortunately that is what being mature is all about. Wars have been fought for less.

I find it may be inappropriate, even if the conversation is innocent, because this info is too private to share with your married male friends. Of course I wouldn’t talk about sex with my married male friends. Do you think it is inappropriate to talk about your dating life with your married male friends if you’re single? Only if you’re close with your married male friends should you disclose this info? I sometimes talk about my dating experiences with my male friends, but not my married male friends. Obviously there’s the ‘love’ things, but realistically, you are making a commitment, to a person you do not know. Besides which, saying you have an online bff, is just about as nerdy as saying you have an online girlfriend. I mean, can you really throw online dating aside as some terrible thing, but then have, technically, ‘fake’ friends?

Don’t get excited, I’m not trying to say they are bad things. I have online friends.

Thomas…you have to realize that people you meet online are real people…and that you can actually meet them in person. I have.
It’s not terrible at all…just what you make out of it…and another problem you can encounter is some people that are fake and have the mentality that online is a make believe world.
I think it’s a great way to meet people you would have never possibly have met.
