what are some things to do with girls as just friends before actually dating? I’m in college and like this girl that I see maybe once a week so its hard to talk to her alot. Any tips? Is there a way I can get her number without being ridiculously obvious?

If you are trying to eventually date her why are you trying to be friends first? If she thinks of you as "just a friend" the dating part will never happen.

Many times being direct and confident is all it takes to make a girl interested. Tell her that you think she is an interesting person and you would like to get to know her better. Then ask her out!

You will get to know her as you date her. If you don’t ask her out someone else will, and you will be the "friend" she hangs out with and then she’ll leave to go on a date with her boyfriend (not you).

If she turns out to be someone you don’t really want to date you will be able to move on without the guilt of losing a good friend…in fact it will be easier to become friends after you date than to become a boyfriend after you are friends.
